The second sun had risen over the Outer Zone and the day was shaping up to be rather nice. Two large trucks moved along the road at a uniform speed, headed east, and the men in each truck had been up with the first sun.
"Any idea where we're going?" Billy asked, looking out the back of the second truck as they moved down the dirt road. Porter and Charlie were playing some sort of hand-slapping game while Wyatt simply leaned back and closed his eyes.
"Probably gonna have us do some tracking skills," the blonde breathed, shifting slightly as the truck bounced over a large pothole. Charlie looked away from Porter long enough to miss the slap and lurched back, rubbing the back of his hand.
"How will tracking in the woods help us in the city?" All of them knew that the Tin Men patrolled Central City, not the outlands. That was for the local law to deal with.
"No idea," Wyatt grumbled as the truck hit another pothole. He wasn't a fan of the great outdoors and would rather be back in the city, training for something useful. He had no intention of traipsing about the woods of the Outer Zone.
Ever.
