Watching Isaac paint was probably her favorite thing to do, but that night, it wasn't. It was slowly driving her crazy. For the first hour, it had been fine. She'd watch him enter his little trance, a world away from her, and let the magic fly. He'd returned a couple one word answers to her, but for the most part, hadn't said a word.

But now, it was beginning to enter the second hour, and she wasn't going to last much longer in self entertainment. She'd finished her paperwork before she'd come over, tidied up the loft (he'd kill her later), and now was just sitting in a chair, watching him.

"Isaaaac," she drawled, stretching out his name, nearly whining. He didn't answer and her lips curved into a pout. Of course he would ignore her, like he had been all night.

She wondered what she could do to get his attention. She considered tickling him, but he might not forgive her if she disturbed his work. Which she could understand. Not that he was ticklish anyway.

"What can I do," she thought out loud. Her eyes roamed the open space around them. The open paint can of black paint was still on the ground next to him.

It was a possibility.

"Isaac," Simone threatened, "if you don't pay attention to me, you'll regret it."

It probably wouldn't even nudge him from the silence.
