Summary: Back in Texas, Kirin goes on a late night walk and meets an interesting drifter.

Kirin sighed as he looked at his watch. Sunrise would be in a few hours. With it brought school, work, and other things to deal with that kept him from sleeping in the first place. He had been walking the near deserted streets, trying to tire himself out. Where all of the extra energy came from, Kirin didn't know.
He turned at a stop sign and walked toward what looked to be an elementary school playground. At this time of night/early morning, it appeared to be empty. He decided he'd sit on one of the swings and spam text messages to his sleeping friends.
