I don't know how others apply for jobs. Maybe I should do a list to help others out. I just re-did my resume from scratch. It looks SO pretty! I should just print my LinkedIn profile. I do SO much that I don't know how to put it into words. I should brain storm with people on what words to use. I looked in my inbox and I have so many job alerts from so many different places. That's my main tactic now. Before, I would do a zip code search of organizations or whatever industry I wanted, then went directly to the websites (since a lot of these companies aren't on large job sites). I also have a bunch of different craigslist key word alerts. That's where smaller companies post. I'm on different alumni boards, different facebook and linkedin groups. I have eventbrite feeds. I EVEN have RSS alerts for jobs/career pages so that when a new post gets posted I have it in my feed the second that they post it. I follow places in other countries, other states too. Yeah I feel like I should make a real post somewhere.
New opportunities I'm interested in:
radio, either my own or rent time with established places (did you know the cost to buy a radio station is only like $1 mil?); I'd do health media research related summary reads instead of just reading into SoundCloud
fast food front, we game planned a simple menu and biz plan when we were buzzed, I hope it comes to fruition, i looked up existing ones and they cost as low as $30k
salon, but my mom is right who would work there, but i would want a place to relax at, also runs as low as $30k, as much as $100k+
investment property, the easiest is to rent out a place, I think realistically I would also do palm springs, I hope my mom doesn't put me into new jersey cuz I think that is not as convenient, as a sinking place
BUT I will prob give my loan approval to my sis for her first home so she can move away from the noisy college kids lol
I am motivated tonight as I am in a sweat ball because I can't turn on my AC because I'm cramping hard :(
