“Hey you…” Cath’s voice held level. She was smirking slightly at Sara, who watched her with a smile. Her smaller blonde friend was happy at last. Her blue eyes shone, a sure sign someone had lit the up once more.
“Someone had a date last night…” Sara grinned.
“Huh? Oh… Yeah…” Cath blushed and Sara laughed.
“Who is she?”
“Wendy… wait… she? How did you?”
“Hello? Dating Curtis remember…” Sara laughed, smirking as Sofia was noticeable staring at them through the window, she stood, playfully slapping Cath’s arm. “Well… I’d better get going…my babe’s waiting…”
She walked toward the door, stunned to see Sofia hurrying away. She sped up, catching Sofia’s arm. “ ’Fia?” She asked softly, pulling Sofia back, into her arms. “Hey… what’s up with you?”
“You and her huh? Bet you loved stringing me along…” Sofia all but snarled, her brown-blonde hair in disarray and tears shining in her blue eyes.
“Who? Cath… You are joking… I love you, you jealous geek.” Sara laughed, hugging Sofia tighter, refusing to let her ago as she kissed her forehead, feeling Sofia relax against her. “You fool Curtis… I love you… no-one else…”
