Sara Sidle sighed as she sat back in her chair. She’d been forced to work alone thanks to Ecklie’s rules. She brushed her dark brown hair out of her deep brown eyes and sighed again. She’d finished her work as much as she could… now she was waiting for a co-worker to arrive so they could go interrogate their murderer. She was bored and she stood to stretch her long legs… yawning.
“Morning…” Sofia Curtis smirked. She wore her long blonde-brown hair pulled back. Her blue eyes sparkled and she sounded happy enough. She watched Sara yawn again. Smirking as she crossed closer to her lover. “Miss me?”
“Sure did…” Sara smiled, nuzzling Sofia’s neck as she hugged her lightly. “It’s pretty lonely here…”
“Now you know how I felt all those nights…” Sofia whispered. Sara smiled again, kissing her lightly. “At least we got each other now…”
