Are they counting on the desire for 3G voice service to convince people to purchase this thing? Wouldn't people just use voice over 2G (AT&T covers 98% of the US that way already)? Or go with a different carrier ( Read more... )

Barnes and Nobles new Nook eBook reader, the one that is going to compete with the Kindle, uses AT&T's network.

(The Kindle uses Sprint, in case you didn't know.)

At first I was going to gripe that the Nook uses AT&T.
