Sign of the apocalypse? My mother just called to tell me happy birthday. She never does that. She also said "I wanted to thank you for everything you've done over the past year." WTF? And finally, she says she got me a gift card.
My mother never gets me ANYTHING for my birthday unless she wants something. I am suspicious.
In good news, it occurred to me the other day that it's only 6 months til my brother is 18, and I am done with my mom forever.
