Loan Approval

I just found out that I got final loan approval on my townhome. I really think that I should be happy, but instead all I have done is cry.

Been there done that. Beautiful apartment ... killer amenities ... yet every step forward is excruciating.

It does get better with time.

I've been thinking of you a lot lately. I have not been on lj much at all, so am catching up with people's lives. Sorry I missed so much of what's been going on for you.

Congrats on getting approval for the loan. I'm sorry it hurts. Feel free to call if you ever need/want to talk.

One less bell to answer. One less egg to fry. One less man to pick up after. I should be happy, but all I do is cry.

There are few pains in life that haven't been put to music.

I can see where this is a symbol for you of being alone. This is a triumph you should be celebrating with those who love you, but instead is a reminder that you are moving away from someone you love.

It's OK to feel whatever you feel, even if you're feeling totally contradictory things at the same time.

I'm guessing you can have a house-warming party and let some of us show you that you are still loved. You will not be celebrating your new place all alone. At births, the person being born is usually crying while everyone else is happy. We can see you starting a new life. Please don't be upset if we're all happy for you while you're crying. There will be good bits.

Congratulations on getting the financing set up! I know it's a rough step to take; I did it myself a long time ago, but having your own place that you don't share with Paul is a good thing. It's painful, but if you keep peeling back the scabs with him right there, you won't heal. The separation hurts, but it's healthier in the long run.

Hugs to you. I hope you will start enjoying your new home soon.
