The primary benefit of OKCupid/Fetlife/etc. appears to be that if I see someone's profile, then sooner or later run into them IRL, (because Seattle is tiny,) then go back and look at their profile again, I have a better chance of remembering who they are.

ha. I've recognized a couple people from okcupid in real life (having never talked to them on the site, just lurked their profiles) &it felt a little creepy.

I've thought about that, too...but I do kind of morph identities all the time, so I think it makes sense?
the first photo is what I actually look like currently.

I think it happens with a lot of people -- after I've seen them then all their pictures look like them, but before it's all kind of disjoint.
