a farm reception?

OH! This weekend Giles and I went to see Brooksby Farm as a Reception site. We havn't decided any thing, but I LOVE it. It's gorgeous and rustic and they have white lights all strung up. Meg- you'd vote for it- you'd totally love it. Giles wasn't sold, but I'm kinda hoping he'll change his mind after we see some other places.

I grew up a five minute walk from Brooksby Farm. My parents had their 25 year wedding anniversary there.

Personally, if it suits your other needs, I think it's pretty good.

But I'm sure I have a massive nostalgic bias towards Brooksby, so your mileage may vary. When I walked to or from high school, it was usually through those woods.

I grew up in Danvers w/ Meg, so I'm definitely familiar w/ Brooksby. We'll be having the ceremony in Beverly, so it'll be easy to get to the Farm if we have the reception there.

When I was a kid I was attacked by a goat at Brooksby Farm. He broke through the fence and chased me. haha, I think I was like 6 or 7, but i'll never forget it.

I second the good cider donuts comment. :)

I think, for me, the rampaging goat might be a black mark against Brooksby! If we have it there, I promise, we'll guard you from goats. :)
