Just stuck to the TV.

Last days have been full of ER. Yup, that's right, I finally got inspired by jb_slasher and started watching ER. Well, started may not be a best word, because I'm already in season 3 (that really was Kirsten Dunst!) and I would've been further in, but Nati is over at my place almost all the time and it is awesome. She was here with her boyfriend yesterday ( Read more... )

Haha, I'm so happy I inspired you! And you're already in Season Three! So far this season has been a rollercoaster ride! I'm not sure if I'll get to the end but I'll watch at least until the end of season eight. Maybe further because Carter is also awesome <3

I love one of the doctors that season 3 introcudes, the Pedes doctor, a blonde one, what's-her-name.
I think you mean Abby Keaton? I liked her, she's great with kids and she's just so calm when she interacts with Benton who's so full of fire.

Today I watched Ewan McGregor's episode. I can't say I liked it. I was so conflicted about his character (most of the time I can just be partial to whoever the actor I like is portraying which can be disturbing at times). There was at least one good thing about: he had his A Life Less Ordinary hair which I love like crazy. :D ( ... )

You've totally inspired me, all that talk about them, just completely! And my mom was also very enthusiastic about this show, she watched all seasons in two months or so.
Yeah, I'm also hesitant about watching after Greene's gone, but I still love Carter... I think it's good to like the main character. :) Or is Carter really the main character? I saw today a shirtless!Carter in "Dr. Carter, I presume" and that got me so happy. :) I'm still a fangirl after all.

Yes, that sounds like her. Especially the calm part.

The Ewan McGregor episode is definitely different, right? It actually seems more kind of like a House episode to me - because of the character study and everything. I loved his hair, too, though! Maybe today just wasn't a good day for this episode. It is a bit odd for ER, although I think it's one of the most popular ones, because I haven't seen season 3 before and I've already seen this episode twice on TV.

No other thing for me to do than agree, at least with the first sentence so far. There are a lot of seasons, really! It is shocking, although there are people who watched them all, too, so that must mean there's not TOO MANY seasons, just a lot. I think I'll be stubborn enough to watch all of them. :)

By the way, why isn't there a female word for doctor?

I really want to talk about this, but I feel way too nackered to do it right now. :D Hopefully I'll remember to do it later. (We've actually talked about the female words during our English lectures.)

We should definitely talk about it, I feel insignificant lack of scientific language conversations. My friend and I spent a couple of hours recently just talking about similarities and origins in languages and I loved it. :) I'd enjoy a good lecture slash talk about female words in English. :)
