I use Origins Dr. Weil's Plantidote Mega-Mushroom (ask Jeff how much it bugs him that they call it that..."mushrooms aren't a plant!" he said) line...cleanser (no scrubby bits), face serum, and moisturizer. we have an Origins in our building! i'll check it out. interesting, the directions tell you to rub the cleanser into your skin while it's dry.
$26 isn't prohibitive...

I ended up with a free Garnier face wash that feels like you're going through a car wash. I only use it about twice a month because it's so very scrubby. According to their website, it seems to be the "Nutri-Pure Microbead Cream Scrub."
Also if you want to spend a lot of money, Clarins has a pretty amazing orange extract exfoliating cleanser. (My roommate in Washington Heights worked for Clarins so our place was always full of their stuff.)

I miss my L'Oreal facewash, though. It was the only cleanser my face ever really LOVED. . .

The Olay that I use is in a white and blue container. And it'll say "sensitive skin" and "non-soap." It's amazing.
