Perhaps you've just freshly pierced your lobe a few time the day previously, and you're vigorously exercising. Thus making sweat trickle down and creating 'itchy' sensations in your ear. Don't grasp your lobe and absentmindedly yank on it ( Read more... )

Thanks. It actually doesn't hurt (other than the initial zOMG!). It was bleeding a bit, which actually is the first it has done that because the fellow who did it did a really professional job.

Yay for professional piercers! I've been lucky and never got blood even when piercing by safety pin (which, apearantly, is a less than brilliant idea, mind you.)

Eh, one of them was an 8 gauge piercing, so I was worried more about that one.

Safety pin: Still probably a better idea than piercing at a mall shop with the stud gun (which can't be cleaned thoroughly and may have the worst kind of cooties).
