He’s Just Not That Into You Thank god I saw this at a free screening Jacki snagged, because if I had paid for it...man. There are no words for how much this movie annoyed me. In fact, I think Jacki’s sighs throughout the film were the best part. First of all, I wanted to slap the main character across the face and yell “you are a freakin ( Read more... )

I actually thought "He's Just Not That Into You" was a good self-help book. I read it after I got dumped, and it really rang true for me. Then I did the vignette for the movie and I couldn't believe how bad it looked.

What I liked about the BOOK "HJNTIY" is that it really pushes this idea of "you deserve good treatment, commitment and attention, and if you aren't getting it from this guy, it's not your desires that are wrong, it's that this guy isn't the guy for you." I think they really lost that in the movie.

I wish I could get the money and time I spent on He's Just Not That Into You back. Like Kate, I thought the book was pretty decent. I expected the movie to be fluffy, but not that terrible! The movie irritated me SO MUCH, and the more I thought about it afterward, the more annoyed I got. Ugh.

I feel like one of the few who LOVED "He's just not into you." I actually want to go see it again.

I, too, read the book, and while I found it annoying on occasion, I also really needed the It's Not Your Fault message at the time. Looks like I'll be staying away from the movie, which is sad, because Ginnifer Goodwin is awesome.
