One Tree Hill and other shows

Over the last two days I have caught up on episodes of OTH that I hadn't watched - last four episodes of last season and the 3 from this season. Even six seasons in, I still love this show and has not lost its touch. Usually I don't keep up with a show for that long ... maybe except Smallville which I am pretty much over now. First season of season ( Read more... )

Hi! =D

You should watch Battlestar Galactica's fourth season (just 10 episodes for now.. damn hiatus..) The new season starts slow, but with the usual good writing, amazing actors, visual effects and music(I love Bear McCreary...) and the mid-season cliffhanger.. WOW! *_* Excellent, excellent television.

I haven't seen any of season 4 nor have I seen Razor. I guess season 3 didn't impress me too much to continue going which is why I have no idea what is going on with the show right now. I but I have a few episodes downloaded and will watch when there is nothing else to watch. But glad to hear that it is still up to its high standards :)

I never thought I would say that, but I'm enjoying OTH since last season, I think fast forwarding 5 years was a good idea. And little Jamie is just too adorable.

HIMYM and Heroes starts next week, Private Practice and CSI: NY in two weeks I think. FNL I'm not sure, but I can't wait to see the new season.

As for new shows, I'm looking forward to Dollhouse, but it'll start only in january I think. I checked out Fringe, 90210 (what can I say, I liked the original, lol) and Privileged. Fringe is not so bad, I really liked the pilot of Privileged and 90210 is okay, but I'm getting tired of teen shows so I'm not sure I'll keep watching.

I don't know if you watched Chuck last year ? If not, this show is amazing, I highly recommend it. :)

Didn't watch Chuck - don't think I even watched the new shows of last year, apart from Pushing Daisies which I got bored of quite fast.

Never heard of some of the shows you mentioned. All I know that Dollhouse has that girl from Buffy, Fringe has Joshua Jackson. Don't know anything on Privileged, and I agree on you that 90210 being another teen show. I've grown out of teen shows too - they are all the same ... bitchiness, love trianges etc. I guess, once you have seen one, you have seen them all. Plus I think I am getting a bit old to be interested in teen issues lol.

To be quite honest, I am not really excited about the return of the shows. Hopefully I can get back into them and enjoy them once more.

You should really check out Chuck, I promise you won't be disappointed. It was my favourite new show last year, and one of my favourite show now. It's my ''feel good show'', it's really a fun show and I can't help but have a big smile on my face when I watch it. The characters are all great and there's too much adorableness in that show, lol.

Yeah I find it sad to see what's happening with teens shows now. I miss when it used to be shows like Felicity, Dawson's Creek, Gilmore Girls, Everwood, Veronica Mars, etc, when it had a lot more substance. Now it's all about pretty rich spoiled teenagers hooking up and being mean with each other, it gets old really fast. And you're absolutely right, when you've seen one you've seen them all, and it's unfortunate. The only teen shows that I still find interesting are Kyle XY and Greek.

I also still watch OTH, because well its OTH. I'm going to watch SV, simply because of Tom Welling, but you're right, Clana was a main reason for me, too. I don't know what I should expect from their possible reunion....

I really miss the Clana from the earlier seasons, but I think "Season 8??!!". Sometimes I wonder how that show got so far lol. I guess it will be good to see Lois and Clark together doing the reporting work. But Smallville just set things up about Clana for me.

I love OTH, still good after all these years. Though I don't need to see another psycho like Carrie, wasn't it all done before with Derrek? And poor Dan, after all he has done, I kinda feel sorry for him :(

One Tree Hill is something of a guilty pleasure for me. I'm so far outside the target demographic that at times I've been ashamed to admit that I actually watch the show.

As marie422 said, Heroes starts next week (Monday 22 September in the US, specifically).

I saw most of the pilot for Fringe (all but the first 10 minutes) and it's intrigued me enough that I'm going to keep watch.

I wholeheartedly second marie422's suggestion that you watch Chuck. It's completely brilliant and was my absolute favorite show from last year.

One Tree Hill is indeed a guilty pleasure show and I am not afraid to admit it lol.

Thanks for the specific date on Heroes. Last season wasn't that special, so I hope it picks up again.

If there was one new show I plan to check out, it would be Fringe, not sure what it is about, but it has Joshua Jackson (is he the main character?) and created bu JJ Abrams. They are saying its like an X-Files, mystery kinda thing? I should give it a go.

I have heard some good things about Chuck, but I never really bothered with it. But if you say its good, then it must be :) I might have to download it if I run out of things to watch.

Thanks for the comments :)
