Oh I absolutely LOVE it sweetie! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!
I love how you had Theo afraid of him. So fitting after knowing what Theo witnessed him do.
We know Dimitri does what he had to do but we also saw that he was a bit of a softie and you have gotten into his head brilliantly here. I <3 this so much!
*hugs you massively tight and falls into bed with the hopes of Dimitri dreams to follow*
I think Theo would have been afraid of him. Gosh, I was a bit afraid of him, after that, between my bouts of *flail* and 'OMGAMAZING', and 'OMGHE'SSOGORGEOUS.' Ahem.
I quite liked being in Dimitri's head. ;P
*hugs you back, hopes too that she can have good dreams*
Yes, you could see it then, that he was thinking something like 'oh hell, what have I gotten involved in.' And then they're on the bridge and there's that shot of Dimitri looking out the window, like he's just realised they are captive in the middle of the ocean and it is very, very possible that they could die. So. Poor them. But boy is so damn tough, wow.
OH MY WORD. This was utter gorgeousness. I SEE all of this in my head. The pictures just...love. Also, HOW AMAZING ARE YOU DIMITRI? I know I've probably said this already, but YES: Dimitri as a hardcore spy/soldier, but also a level of almost...philosophical intelligence (similar to Ruth) lending to his soft heart, beyond him being super intelligent already...it's just SO him. I loved this. ♥
*Dances* FFFF, I LOVE WRITING HIM AS MUCH AS I DO RUTH. Because there are similarities, big hearts, intelligence, a humanity, despite everything they've seen, and there is Greece too. A tenuous connection, BUT, they could be great friends.
HE'S JUST - HE'S AMAZING, OKAY? Like, I'm sure he loves the sea and he has this big connection to it, but I also love having written this part: He walks parts of London, like forming a mind-map of reminders. Gets lost. Revels in such insecurity; figures his way out, and then re-learns it. He trails the river for as far as he can, and catches the Tube back; remembers how much he hates being underground, out of view of the sky. because he has got to miss that. It's like a.... grounding (literally), which he needs to re-remember, because he's been away from it so long. *flaps*
AND HE'S SO HARDCORE: look up what training for the SBS requires and you will KNOW how effing hardcore he must be. I mean, we got a sense, because he fucking killed a man with plastic wrist ties, whatwhatwhat. And he's so

From the moment he yelled, "Oi! Evershed!" they have been like an epic team. I cannot explain how much I love that. It's just so, familiar, you know? THEY NEED TO DO MORE TOGETHER NEXT YEAR, JUST SAYIN'. An episode on Greece would be kind of perfect.
YES, there are all these little nuances about him and tons of possibilities. I cannot even IMAGINE all the things he knows how to do and is capable of because of all his training, but I LOVE that you always cross the "military Dimitri" with the "everyday Dimitri" who yells, "Oi! Evershed!" (I loveeee it and will always reference it...like I've already done twice...bwah.) It is really fascinating to note that he still has such a...humanity to him. Even after all he's seen, there's a kind of innocence to him I guess. Not naivete, far from that, but just...an optimistic demeanor about him, and once he's been in the security services for years, I wonder how that will build and grow and affect him because you KNOW he's been through a lot already, but he's still got this sense of

Epic, epic. I HAVE SUCH LOVE FOR THEM. It is familiar, it's just.... it's nice, to see that bond. OMFG, an episode on Greece... *imagines them speaking Greek, iz promptly ded* Just - YAY.
Yeah, like how he knows about pirates and weapons, and what kind of guns they use in Afghanistan (because, uh, in my head canon, he's been there, yo.) But god, yes, he has to be super! tough! sailor! boy! WHICH I SO LOVE, but I also completely and utterly adore that human side of him, and the calm he has, the gentleness. That optimism, it's..... I saw that in Zaf, too, you know? And it's so, so, so nice to have someone there who's a little more light-hearted. I love that sense of hope. Or as Harry says, his 'perpetual good cheer.' BOY MAKES ME SMILE SO MUCH. *hugs him*
We are epic with the discussion/analysis factor. Hell yes, we love it. Such fun! WOO!!
