Still going...also, I'm writing like mad to get my Get Your Words Out goal accomplished this year. I've already signed up for a more ambitious goal next year. *headdesk* But that means there'll be lots of new fic over at zuben_fic soon!

number 6 - me so bad!!!
Like on Saturday, I was out shopping. Needed to buy some food. Thought "Okay, remember to bring your backpack, because you're buying milk, and that can be heavy to carry home." (I have no car!) Then I continue to think - "and yeah - you have to make that thing in the hallway that you are planning on doing, so that you can have you backpack and shopping bags there, so that you see them when you go out the door and actually remember to bring them!"
fast forward 10 minutes.... I am standing outside the store, remembering that I didn't bring my backpack - or shopping bag - or well, I didn't even take them out of the closet where I store them, even thought I spent all that time THINKING about it!
That, there... me in a nutshell!

Right? I've learned there's no point in me trying to use reusable grocery bags because I'll just forget to bring them along.

You have no idea how many times I get down to my car and remember something I was supposed to bring with me, only to leave it back in the apartment because I don't want to take the stairs back up. I've been way less prepared for things since moving to the new apartment! LOL

I try hard with 2. I quit swearing right before my kid was born. I figured if I could make it through labor without cussing, I'd be able to quit. Number 5, yes and 6 just gets worse and worse. I have the hardest time remembering people's names, even if I've known them for a while. Ugh.

I'm glad you have your own office. I've had to share a cube wall with a couple of people that I wish I couldn't hear. My boss used to fight with his wife on the phone and I'd make up some reason I had to go out to the book stacks so I wouldn't hear it.

\o/ Yay for more fiction coming......

Very happy about the new fic coming.

So with you on #6. Finding this is happening in my virtual world, too -- I will open up a browser tab and go somewhere, get distracted, go back to the tab and then wonder why the hell I went there. So, so sad.

I get distracted online very easily, too. I might have started keeping a list by the computer of things I need to look up so I remember to look them up. /o\
