Hello! I'll be moving to England to study in a few weeks, so I'm moving LJ accounts to calculette.

This will be a predominantly RL journal to keep everybody, including my RL friends, updated. Like ztrin was such a fandom journal in the first place. *rolls eyes* So don't friend it with the assumption that I'll go on about HP or any fandom I was involved in way ( Read more... )

I warn you now - apart from me and about 2 other people, CLC is a barren land when it comes to fandom. People there don't really use LJ or know much about fic, as I found out the slightly harder way! You might as well keep this here journal (as it's so pretteh)
...Are you going to have somewhere to stay in England? Like a guardian or something? Or do your family/parents have a house here?

Well, now that you mention keeping this LJ... haha, a bit too late now. I'd feel a bit of an idiot if I went back.

Do people in CLC snoop though online blogs? I know my old secondary school was plagued by these retards trawling cyberspace, flaming classmates' blogs and then spreading gossip around school. And re: fandom, I think I'll survive. Any other slags like us from CLC on LJ? :D

I'm staying with close relatives in London for the rest of August, then I'm moving to the dorms in September. My mum went and bought a flat (but I suspect this is solely for the purpose of prettifying it with the help of her architect brother).

I'd suggest you friends lock everything, because you never know. That's what I tend to do, anyway.
Two other girls in my year are on lj - quatermas and madannekidd, the second of which is malaysian :) I have a feeling you'll like them both *grin* I have no idea about other years but I have a feeling most people either post pics on xanga.com or just don't bother at all.
Moving to Beale? What about half-terms and free weekends and stuff?
