Called my mum and told her to check on my aunt and uncle who live in London, told anybody hanging around the studio and then SMS-ed people for good measure. Because I felt like screaming it. I

I was talking to Des on MSN and then she just suddenly messaged me about the London bombings. It's quite horrible that my first thought "Oh. Shit. Are The Libertines alright? Is Special Needs okay? Macca, even? Omg omg omg" and thought of all the bands that were in London at the moment and hyperventilated a bit.

Yeah, oh fuck, just fucking think about it. I even posted in the_libertines about it, asking if everybody was okay. Kaiser Chiefs? Even fucking CHRIS MARTIN? LIKE, WHY THE HELL DO I EVEN GIVE A SHIT ABOUT CHRIS MARTIN-PALTROW? But I am. Oh my god, this is so awful.

Maaaan, exactly. My entire music-listening career flashed before my eyes. I was imagining newspaper reports with big, bold headlines like "LIBERTINES KILLED IN BOMB BLAST" and "MUSICIAN DEATHS ESCALATE". I was preparing to write an emo entry about it and how it was all finished, and the dream of Arcadia was gone, and the Albion had finally sunk.

KAISER CHIEFS. THE CRIBS. THE PADDINGTONS. PINK FOOKING FLOYD. THE LA'S?!? BRIAN WILSON?! Aaaaaaaagh I feel, if possible, even more horrible than in school today.

Oh god at least stupid Pete's in fucking Ibiza where the silly bugger will be safe. I'm dead worried about CARLOS.
