This weekend was free Showtime. I cancelled Showtime after season 5 of QAF. Tonight I watched a show called Dexter with Michael C. Hall (Six Feet Under). Dexter's a serial killer who only kills those who deserve it; he's also a forensic blood spatter specialist with the Miami Police. Sound like a weird enough premise? I've read the books (there are two of them). Good mainly
for the psychology more than the actual mysteries.

I never knew about the books, never heard of Dexter until this weekend ... I think I have some reading to do! And I agree - the running conversation going on inside the character's mind is far more compelling than the action - which is kind of gruesome.

The author is Jeff Lindsay.

oh, yeah.

His dad...oh, my. Loved listening to him swaying Dexter from general killing to killing people who DESERVED it.

Yeah, I'm liking this strange show.

That is an interesting aspect of it ... the cop father training his future serial killer son how to do it right and not get caught.
