Which is heavier, a pound of Gold, or a pound of feathers?

I learned the answer to this in Physics class.

Gold is more dense, but that is all that I know. So if heavy=dense, then I have the cat in the bag :).

A pound is a pound, it doesn't matter what it is made of.
