I hate my language class because I CANNOT determine the pace. It goes both too fast and too slowly for me and I can't predict when either situation will happen. I did all my homework a week before it was officially assigned, but took longer than everyone else in the class to do the quiz, because for some silly reason I took it seriously (I also ( Read more... )

In my vast experience as a University professor, I've found that there's exactly *zero* correlation between the amount of time a student spends taking a quiz and the student's grade on that quiz. It takes zero time to write nonsense on each item and turn it in; conversely, there are many meticulous students who will treat each item with such care that they'll consume all time available, no matter how much time is alloted.

So ... don't freak about the time thing. Plenty of other things to freak about. :)
