Pan's Labyrinth - Fantastic in the literal sense, enthralling, terrifying, heartbreaking. The transition between grim reality and fantasy was seamless, no suspension of disbelief required at all. Since another sister is leaving this afternoon, we got the fireworks celebration going early after taking down the outdoor Christmas decorations (had to be done while the manual labor was still here). The daytime conditions gave me the chance to get photographic documentation of the fun to share. :-D

Well, the new RAM didn't help my SL issues like I hoped it would, which means it's probably my processor. Eh, it's livable, though disappointing. I can work through it until the very distant point at which I can afford a faster computer. I'm thinking desktop, to complement my still very functional laptop. After touring Radio City Music Hall back in June, we found out that the Rockettes Christmas show was going to be in Houston this December, so we got tickets for last night's performance.
