I really can't find it in myself to get angry about BSG either. I see some of their points, but I liked what I saw, and it's all just too much effort to be negative about what was on the whole an awesome show.

And I hear you with the JRK comparison. That was one thing that reminded me why ambiguity can be a good thing.

I think people wanted specifics, and some see the more handwavey explanation as a cop-out. I don't know. I'd rather not assume too much about what other fans feel, having been on the other side of that.
