TGI...F, right? I cannot be certain.

I was all motivated to bike today, but then I overslept. Whoops. I maybe need to sleep for more than five hours a night. SGA is looking iffy for me tonight.

General commentary on the past week of Olympics watching, not including stuff tonight since we've barely started )

My favorite commentator so far is Rowdie Gaines in swimming. Most times you can practically HEAR him bouncing out of his chair in the announcer's booth. ;)

Tim Daggett needs a muzzle.

Yes, he's entertaining. I fault those guys on their inability to pronounce "Alain" consistently and correctly, and their Michael Phelps obsession, but they still land on my good side.

Everyone else can just go now.

I actually felt like the floor routines were more musical this year than in the past. Not that they're actually dancing, but they do seem to have had the music in mind when assembling the routine, at least, which I didn't feel in the past. Or maybe my expectations are lower.

My favorite moment so far: in the white water kayaking, the last guy to go was in the lead until the very end when he hit a bad patch and lost a bunch of time. He ended up 3 seconds behind the winner. When he looked up and saw his final time, he threw a fit. He took his paddle in both hands and threw it down in front of him as hard as he could. He was still in the kayak, though, so it bounced off that straight up into the air and came down almost on his head. The guy went from angry and violent to literally ducking and cowering in .3 seconds flat. HILARIOUS! Plus, my kids were in the room, so he became a great object lesson on sportsmanship as we mocked. The look on his face. *giggles*
