Yeah, some of the hair in the pics is bad. But finally - Luna! :D
I've only really half-watched the two eps so far of Studio 60, but what I've seen is enough to interest me to tune in next week. Maybe next week I'll be awake enough to fully pay attention to it. ;)
Sigh! I'm still waiting for Luna to convince me that she's Luna. Evanna looks so different from my mental image that I need to see more than her dressed in a uniform. I think this is going to be a tough film for me because I love that particular book so much.
Have you seen that video interview of her the BBC had a while back? That was one of the big things that gave me hope for her - her voice is very airy and sing-songy, almost exactly how I imagined Luna to sound. I've also read transcripts of a few other interviews she's done that give me the impression she very much "gets" Luna's character.
But yes, the final thing will of course be seeing her actually act the part. But I'm happy enough now just having a "real" picture of my girl at last. :) Far as OotP as an adaptation, I know so much is going to have to be cut, so I'm just going to go in looking at it as basically 2 1/2 hours of selected illustrations. Otherwise I know I'm just going to be frustrated at so much being gone.
I haven't watched any interviews because I'm avoiding promo material where I can (the pics were sort of unavoidable *g*).
Seeing her in action will be the way to tell, yeah. I didn't see why anyone cared about Christian Coulson until CoS actually came out, and I'm planning to withhold judgment on OotP until we get it. Selected illustrations is a good way to describe it; I'm considering it just another interpretation.
The twins surprised me at first because although I picture them with short hair in the books, I got used to the movie-verse shags. But yeah, they look good.
