(They took it. Pre-order is in and the precious shall be MINE in a month.)

I was watching the liveblog and refreshing amazon.com at the same time, screaming at my computer to just PUT UP THE PRODUCTS SO I CAN ORDER!!

I don't think they were live for ten minutes before my bb was preordered.

I've been waiting for this announcement since the rumors started last spring. My Kindle is a few generations old and overdue for a refresh.

Yeah, I'm thinking by the time this comes out in the UK (probably sometime next summer if amazon sticks to their usual schedule) my Kindle will be well and truly old (OH ordered it from the US when they didn't even exist here) and I won't have to guilty about replacing it! Gimme!!!!

Hahaha YES. I had to read this out loud to my husband because I always have to do searches for character names and it takes forever and then I lose my spot and aaaargh.

Oops, that anonymous comment complaining about how annoying it is to search for character names on a Kindle was me, not logged in. :)

LOL. Yeah, one of the things I love about ebooks is that you can search them easily, so it delights me greatly that they've tuned into that to make it easier.

I have one, too, but it's a few generations old. I held off replacing it once the rumors started about the new ones, and I'm glad I did!

I wish my Kindle was older then I would feel justified getting a new one. That find a minor character feature sounds great!
