I am so proud of myself right now. The washing machines here like to eat coins; they often get stuck going in, sometimes beyond the point at which the return button will help. I got stuck on the fifth going in out of six needed and decided I was Not Having That. Fifteen minutes later, after careful application of internet, flashlight, and unbent

This reminds me of a time in high school where I lost my cell phone because I'd turned it off, and it was in the pocket of a hoodie that I'd hung up. At the time, not having my phone for a week wasn't a big deal, but I felt real smart when I found it.

I misplace things in my purse. And my purse is small! But its smallness leads to me never seeing the thing I'm looking for when I push something to the side. I've had iPhone panic so many times because of this.
