how does one do freelance grant writing? i think i'd be good at it...

I don't know. I saw an ad awhile back for one at a local non-profit, but I didn't have any cred back then.

I think that once I get in with the local peeps who do non-profit work , and get a few more grants under my belt I will be able to network up some employment.

I think I will get Paladin-like business card that say Have Pen, Will Travel

(because Have keyboard, Will Travel just doesn't have the same ring to it.)

I am happy for you and fully know that everyday I work for the union I fall a little more behind. Yup, that's the awesome security of a union gig. *I have to go into hiding now cuz I just gave up the biggest secret in the labor movement everyones got worker rights but us* bye.
