Beloved flisties, since you´re so much smarter than at times slow but still cute (duh!) moi, maybe you can help:

I was rewatching "In My Time of Dying" the other day (really, there is never enough Dean-in-a-hospital-bed) and something made me go

huh? )

I have no idea! I don't think I ever thought of this other than maybe that the demon thought that maybe John would figure out a way to kill him/it with or without the gun.

That´s a possibility I quite like, Papa Winchester sure is one scary fella ;).
I never really thought about it either, but after watching the ep for the 4th time or so struck me as odd.
I really hope they´ll be coming back to this.

There's the incredible John/Demon fic I recc'd, which has great John characterization but also shows him as a challenge that the Demon just can't walk away from.

Fascinating story, and it's here. :)

Thank you for the rec, hun!
I´ve checked it out and really like the idea of John being a challenge to the!Demon. Especially since he fails to understand the concept of loving someone the way John loves his family.

I don´t actually have a theory about anything in SPN cause I think that someone will proof it wrong anyway later *lol* No just kidding. But I love to be surprised and I think the writers already have that whole thing up in there head and it´s working out so well and great and yeah, I just love it

I added you by the way. Hope you don´t mind ^^

LOL! I know what you mean. Personally, when i have a really cool theory about something it later on always proofs to be the exact opposite ;). But generally I really trust the writers. So far, they´ve even given me more than I hoped for.

I added you by the way. Hope you don´t mind ^^
Nope, don´t mind at all, added ya right back :).

I'm so in lust with the Yellow Eyed Demon, I thought maybe when he was in John it was just Jeffery Dean Morgan workin' it but then he was still pretty darn sexay when he was in that other guy in My Time of Dying.

Did you watch Buffy? Because I have a "this could be like that" but it would really only make sense if you saw the show.

I guess to sum up, John with the Yellow Eyed Demon inside him ... throw in some "kitten killin" and yes. Please.

Dude! Wasn't he??? Maybe we're attracted by the healthy yellow glow of his eyes... uhm ;). Well, ok, maybe it's more that he is such a teasing, flirting evil bastard... mhm, very attractive.
Though JDM definitely added some extra-sexyness to it.

I've followed Buffy up until to season 5 so I think you might have to help me out with this ;).

No, up till season 5 works well.

Remember in The Dark Age -

Buffy: You knew that if the demon was in trouble it was gonna jump into the nearest dead person.

Angel: I put it in danger.

Willow: And it jumped.

Angel: I've had a demon inside me for a couple hundred years... just waitin' for a good fight.

I was thinking like that with John and the Demon. Only. Sexin instead of fightin.

Right! I seem to remember something... Nice thinking! Especially Only. Sexin instead of fightin.! Heh. There is definitely something going on there. And I think I like it *eg*.
