I also find the reference for Gabriel disturbing.

Gabriel-Hope- Harmony through Conflict - 1st Chakra(empathy/perception)

And then I reiterate...damn.

Maybe these things should be researched...hmm.

Intersting too that Raphael's counterpart is supposedly the Blessed Mother. . .

Relating to this (unlike "A nargle just ate my lunch" ^_~) I think there is something to parents picking out baby names. What pushes a parent towards a liking/disliking for a particular name. Obviously your mother was drawn for certain reasons to your name being as it was chosen. Interestingly enough (and a bit complicated because I have compound first name) my entire first name means "sole ruler of the water/waterfalls" Who would have thunk?! I mean my mother could have left it at "sole ruler", but no, she decided to add on the water part with the second part of my first name. Curious indeed.

Intersting, then, that my grandmother wanted to name my mother Christine--> but my aunts and uncle for some reason convinced her to name my mother Margaret instead. So, when I was born, Mom wanted to name me Ruth (after her mother)--but Gramma said that Ruth was "not an appropriate name for a modern young lady"-- so Mom said "Okay, she'll be Christine then", so that Gramma could finally have her Christine.

As for your name. . .er, wow, I didn't know it's meaning, but it's very appropriate. . .

Mind you, too, I've not read this book that all this comes from, and personally, I find it odd that the names of these Archeia are Standard English, while the Archangels are naturally more Semitic. So, I have no idea how trustworthy any of it is. Personally, when something starts referencing the "___th Ray", my eyes cross, since I totally don't get the "Ray" system. It gets really New Agey when they do. . .

But still, the other correspondences are interesting. . .

I don't know anything at all about the ray system, chakras I get because of Hinduism, but rays...no clue.

Like you I'm just fascinated by the randomness. Or perhaps the pointedness.
