Scientific pitch notation.

Vocal range, of course, is another example of quantity not equaling quality. Example: my range is wider than that of Michael Jackson as a kid - but he could obviously wipe the floor with my ass.

My vocal range: Bflat3 - A6 (two octaves, seven notes)

Other peoples' ranges:

Freddie Mercury: F2 - E6 (three octaves, seven notes)

man i really wish i could read vocal music. this post is relevant to my interests!

I only learned through the choir I was in in CA. I knew NOTHING of this notation prior to that.
