Sometimes, you gain water weight before you lose weight. Your body is just balancing itself out. Do not worry! That always happens with me, right before I lose weight. The next day I'll get on the scale and I will have lost 3 pounds.

Yeah, I was actually wondering today if it was some water weight - but I really am starting to think that I have increased my muscle tone more than I first thought that I did. My pants are starting to fall down like they started to at my lowest weight, so I know I didn't just pack on some fat this week.

I know that working at the zoo changed my body shape and actually kept me in a smaller size despite not losing any weight. The job at the pet store really is like doing weight lifting four times a week - add that bending, squatting, and lifting to the walking and running that Storm and I do twice a day and I guess that I get more of a workout than I thought that I did.

I dunno. We'll see what next week brings!

Yeah, I did not think about that, but it is probably muscle mass! Haha, I do not have much experience with gaining muscle, I guess. My arms get tired just from bringing in groceries. ^_~

Woot on the paper!

I am putting my stuff together for my meeting with Advisor on Tuesday. I hope that he is as pleased with that as SuperAdvisor is with you!

Talk to you soon!

Sweet! Glad to hear about the paper! It must feel great to have an advisor who is accepting, helpful, and willing to get you places. It must also be incredible to know that you have a potentially publishable work on your hands that will transform and become something greater. Keep your eyes on the goal, y0!

It is SO refreshing to go in with an idea and not be told that I don't need to do this stuff in grad school and that publishing your own stuff as a grad student isn't the Norm.

I am so, so lucky. :)
