I dunno. Did get a call from the inlaws and a card from my mate. Spent the day driving, showering, and doing laundry. I doubt there will be much dining until the weekend at best ( Read more... )

Toot. Now that I think about it, my mate did try her best to make the day as special as possible. She made me a Medifast brownie as well. Not much ya can do on the road though.

regrets about things not done are vain pointless and a waste of time unless they spur one to action ...

Nah, it's the realisation that the world I was born into is as extinct as the world of Empire, of speakeasies, of rationing and the Blitz.....
Attitudes and assumptions are TOTALLY different.
And change is the only constant (except perhaps Boltzmann's and the speed of light)

I don't know if I necessarily would want to go back, even if I could. Every age has its ups and downs.

I used to think I was either born to early, or too late. Now...it just is.
