I'm just relieved at how LOW the death toll is. I'm used to seeing tornadoes hit places that aren't tornado alley and killing dozens, if not hundreds. Popcorn spawners are always bad, and that looks like it was at least an F4. Just trying to concentrate on how it could've been a lot worse.
Don't feel guilty that you were spared. That's just how it worked out. And losing possessions, no matter how many or how much, is nothing compared to if they'd lost their lives. I'm just really, really glad you're safe. I had no idea you were right there in the thick of things. It'll be okay. If nothing else, just look at Moore--every five years, it seems, a tornado sweeps down and wipes it off the map and they just say, "Yeah, fuck you, Mother Nature," and put it right back where it was. I'm always stunned how quickly people can put a town back together after a tornado shits on it.
