day sixty-six: TORNADO.

so a tornado hit my town today

pretty much wiped out half of it

entire town is out of power and water’s going in some areas

ash and i are fine; no damage to our place/neighborhood

family’s okay, and most of our friends suffered damage but are all whole and hale

so that happened.

Oh my gosh, hon! *hugs* I'm glad you and yours are okay, but how frightening! I can't even imagine something like that - the worst weather England ever gets is panicking over a couple of inches of snow. *hugs again*

Glad to hear you're okay. I was impressed with how much warning the meteorologists were able to give - they couldn't predict location exactly, but they were able to give a 3-day warning for tornadoes in the area.
