What kills me about that photo is that the bat is basically doing the stereotypical "vampire covering his face with his cape" move and I LOVE THAT.

Our IHOP excursions are usually AMAZEBALLS. It's been months since I've gone out and done something with such a big group of friends, so I've got high hopes for today!

And THANK YOU SO MUCH, sweetie! Super pleased that you enjoyed it! :D

Since when is Warm Bodies considered a YA novel? It's not shelved in the YA section at my local Barnes & Noble, and I didn't think the film was directed toward teens at all. (I saw it today!) It's time to let Twilight fade away.

Absolutely agreed. I think the fact that it has a love story involving a paranormal "creature" translated as "TWILIGHT WITH ZOMBIES, TOTALLY TWILIGHT WITH ZOMBIES, RIGHT? LET'S ADVERTISE THIS AS TWILIGHT WITH ZOMBIES!" to the marketing people. Which is bullshit of the highest order, and it does anger me that the allusions drawn in the initial posters and trailers turned a lot of people immediately off.

I just hope that the Twilight crowd that DOES go and see this realize it's weightier and more important than Smeyer's shit and go out, find the book, and actually absorb quality story-telling as a result.
