YES! I loved Hugo; it was so gorgeous and Paris-tastic and the cameos made me squeal out loud. ...For real. Have you read the book? I recommend it HARDCORE & also his second book Wonderstruck BECAUSE I NEED TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT THAT BOOK HOLY SHIT. ♥
I JUST SAW HUGO ON FRIDAY. OH MY GOD WEEPING. And I spent the entire time trying to figure out where I saw that kid before until I realized he was Mordred on Merlin. I LOVE THAT KID.
I see Asa Butterfield constantly being cast as psychotic child geniuses in people's stories, WHICH CRACKS ME UP BECAUSE HE TOTALLY LOOKS THE PART, NON? But I'm waaay fucking excited to see him as Ender Wiggins, ZOMG YES
( ... )
Again, I HAD NO IDEA THIS WAS A MOVIE. And now I want to see it LIKE BURNING but it wont come out here til February, aaaagh. At least that'll give me time to read the book.
I WANT TO, I WANT TO, I CAN'T. I texted my friend who I always go see movies with yesterday when I found out it was playing here in 2D and she hasn't texted me back yet! (CRYING.) I'm going to finish the book tonight, though.
I didn't see it in 3D, but hearing this I sort of want to! 3D films are usually a bad idea for me, what with my glasses and the fact that the 3D specs always pinch too tight and give me a headache, but I may have to brave it for this film. I'm definitely going to try to see it again before it slips out of theatres. AH.
