The biggest downside to sitting in a cafe for several hours and trying to write: too many gorgeous couples come in dressed in their hipster-ish finest and make me feel incredibly inadequate, unfashionable, and unwanted while they giggle adorably together and sip their coffee. Ugh. I am supposed to be writing but my brain is like LOL FUCK YOU. So I'm browsing Tumblr and looking at caps and avoiding Word even though it's open and like STARING at me from the taskbar.
