I feel it is no longer appropriate to maintain a steady contact with E. In the last few conversations we have had he has been entirely selfish and only likes to hear himself speak. He is not calling to find out what's going on with me, only to vent at someone who is not brusque enough to break the conversation off. That will be changing. I will ( Read more... )

No, but thank you. I don't need to be needlessly cruel; he probably thinks I already have been by leaving.

I've stuck to this too. He called once and I got off the phone very fast. Didn't give him a chance to start. Then he sent an email I didn't bother responding to.

And I feel great. I haven't thought about him in a few days other than wonder at the fact that I feel great without him, feel I'm moving on. That I've moved on.

All is good.
