My super-awesome trick of putting Penny in a soft snowsuit instead of blankets has worked again. She hates anything that tangles her legs, always has, so we would put her in a "Piglet suit", a pink Winnie-the-Pooh snowsuit. She outgrew the small ones quickly and we couldn't find a new one. Thank my husband (I do!), he saw them last year on clearance at Target. I was convinced she would be overheated, but it works like a charm. The temperature in her room hovers around 60F right now, so it's chilly and fighting the blankets would wake her up completely. We used my MIL's down comforter in NY, which tented around her without weighing her legs down, but when we looked up the brand it was damn expensive. Forgot about the new snowsuit, glad to find it again!
