Right now I am in the middle of taking a brief break from working on Descent, and I feel pretty good. This book's birth has been a rather hard process, and it's definitely taken me a whole lot longer than I had planned on, but I think now I'm starting to see that fabled light at the end of the tunnel. I really, really enjoy those. Usually we do a decent dinner and a trip to the drive-in theater. Drive-ins are great fun and make perfect economic sense.

Frankly, I'm amazed you're able to write as much as you are. I dunno how you think of so many ideas. I think it's awesome. :)

Thanks, lady. Truth be told when I was younger I was worried that someday I was going to run out of ideas, that I'd go to the well and nothing would come up in the dipping bucket. If anything, the exact opposite has been true. I get one good novel idea a year minimum, and usually it's more like two or three. My back catalog of novels is impressive, but the forthcoming volumes are the stuff I'm really excited about.

After I get DESCENT done, it's on to ZERO... and then the six-arc Ring of Fire book arc will be finished. Then I can start on some of the other stuff. Three cheers for a busy muse! ;)
