So on either Friday or (more likely) Saturday, I will sending Salvation off for the inspection of a could-be publisher.  Quick inspection of the last cover letter I sent off shows that a shameful five months has passed since I last tempted the Publishing Gods, which is... well, it's pretty fucking lame.  The great writing career doesn't happen

Thanks, lady. I'm serious when I say that it's pretty shameful I haven't submitted in so long; I keep meaning to, and then I just don't. This year I'm going to be much more on top of that aspect of my career than I have been in the past.
