I totally failed at explaining myself, but, yeah. I love the snarky, cheeky feel to Harley! This design seems to me like they're trying to, like...grimdark it? Make it edgier, grittier?
But Harley Quinn is a doctor who commits a massive violation of ethics and falls in love with her patient who is a mass murderer who manipulates her into becoming a criminal and OH YEAH HE BEATS HER ALL THE TIME.
Shit's dark. Harley has to be cutesy comical, or else it's horrifying.
