Somewhere Max Brooks is beating his head bloody against his desk, and hopefully a large pile of money for allowing them to use just the title from his book.
Fast zombies? Really? Did the book even pass near the room where the screenwriters were? Fail.
Sadly I'll probably see it anyway to satisfy my zombie movie addiction, but I am still disappointed. I was hoping for the interview format with 'flashbacks' showing the action. Hell I'd take this film as is if he turns out to be Redeker... but I doubt they'd have the nerve to make it like that.
Im not shocked that they didnt follow the format, though how much the deviate is another question all on its own. They might have something similar in how each person's story is told, or how different countries deal with the outbreak. Which would be my thought on how to do it.
