Well Tina certainly does. But I'm not sure necessarily puts them in the 'fashionable' category....

They remind me of the fingerless gloves Gwen Stefani used to wear at No Doubt concerts -- they were all the rage amongst teeny-bopper punk girls in 2007ish (usually in black-and-pink stripped jersey material).

That's not to say that something that isn't "all the rage" can't or shouldn't be worn. I think with the right color and pattern these could be a neat fall/early winter (before your it's too cold for vulnerable fingertips to be bare) accessory. Just my $0.02.

Along the same lines as Napoleon: I'd totally wear them (I tried to rig some with my rudimentary crochet skills that work okay but aren't nearly as cool as the ones you posted), but I also am not necessarily the fashion leader of the modern world.

"Hey, I'd wear them" is good enough for me. :) Maybe I'll try making a pair sometime - the bottom picture is one I'd really like to try. There are some awesome crochet patterns on the site I use for knitting stuff (see Ravelry on the sidebar), but I have no idea what to do with a crochet hook. (Poke people with it?)
