I WAS NOT EXPECTING THIS!!

Hahaha, I guess I have a pretty high Scary! tolerance; I enjoy the creepy and it doesn't really bother me. Totally slept like a baby, once I finally put my computer away.

I knooooow, I need to rewatch EVERYTHING. ...There are only two good things about the massive mid-season break we will need to suffer through. 1) Our wait between seasons will be shorter. 2) It will give me time to get my mom all caught up, and I can re-watch all of last season and this season with her and MAYBE FIGURE OUT WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON. (I've almost got her caught up to the beginning of Moffat's run; we watched "The Waters of Mars" last night.)

By the way I got your email with all of your questions and I am VERY EXCITED ABOUT IT but it's probably going to be several hours until I get my replies back to you... I definitely agree with Theory The First. Theory the Second is highly plausible, and would pretty much be the capstone on Moffat's thesis on how copies are exactly the same as the originals. (Unfortunately, I will be very upset if this is the case, because I'm just not okay with copies replacing actual people and/or universes, no matter how true they are to the original. So I've formulated a plan: if Moffat does this, I am going to change my name to Steven Moffat and take his place, and he won't be able to object because there is functionally no difference between the original and a copy. I just need to work on my costuming (or build a clone robot, if changing my name proves too difficult). The mid-series break ought to give me plenty of time for that. You'll know I was successful when instances of Steven Moffat hitting on Arthur Darvill mysteriously increase in frequency.)

Have I not let it slip that he's adorable? Surely I have. Also, I followed his Twitter for a while and then felt really weird about it, because it was all... actually, like, personal tweets. Also I think he is a closet hipster.

But anyway... I can't prove that Moffat hasn't hit on him in the past, but I'm going to assume that even a stray passing comment from me-as-Moffat would be a marked increase. It's a mathematically sound hypothesis. (It probably would've been way more accurate to say that there would be a significant increase in Steven Moffat being awkward around Arthur Darvill and avoiding eye contact, but "hitting on" is so much funnier and more succinct. (-;)

He is most certainly adorable! And you're right, we've discussed that before--especially our mutual approval for 60s Besuited!Arthur, and his alter ego: Roranicus. (I swear: they must find more excuses to put the boy in period costumes.)

And really, I don't think he is a 'closet' anything: we've all observed the boy's ridiculous fashion choices, y/y?

I don't know, dude: I know we were supposed to learn a Valuable Lesson about what makes people who they are, but I'd still be a little creeped out if they replaced my Doctor with Folgers Crystals.

I think the fact of Flesh!Doctor's return is pretty much indisputable now: I just can't wait to see what they do with him! This is the first I've heard of what Stephen Moffat said re: The Impossible Astronaut, though. I might need time to incoporate his remarks into my own personal theories!
