This is a really fantastic thing to do. The nice concise list of chapters, a short little thing about how it fits in the canon, and a little background so people understand more about the story.

More authors should do this.

Yeah, it's an idea I've picked up from a few authors I like with big multi-chapter fics. I'll have all of my chapters link to my Chapter Masterlist posts, of course. I'm gonna do a Fic Masterlist for all of my work on LJ and stick it at the top of my journal, too, but I think that's gonna have to wait for another time, SO TIRED omg. @_@
