Funny and sassy and nervous and giddy and yup. those are the affects of Dick on a body's constitution. Loved the way you have Bruce and Clark's past relationship allows Clark to talk with Dick about Bruce's kinks. ANd the ending was perfect with just that little whimper of anticipation on Bruce's part.

I was just reading this again, and I'm a bit sad for Bruce. He found it so easy to believe that Dick wouldn't want him, after all, and that Clark would be better for him. The fact that he didn't blame either of them is doubly sad. You CAN have nice things, Bruce! D:

I'm glad Dick tracked him down and didn't try to convince him by phone, or wait until later or anything. Gotta nip that kind of thing in the bud! The way Dick turned all flirty and a bit embarrassed by being turned on by what he'd learned was cute, too. ;D

Haha, no, I get it, I'm a big rereader myself. I'm just pleased you enjoyed your gift! Since, you know, that is generally the intent and hope when giving gifts. ^_^

My weirdo thing is that I obsessively read and reread my own fic. Like, I'd be willing to bet that I've read this piece more than you have. But I can't prove it. Because I've lost count. -_-;; I... don't really know what that's about. I mean, it's a few different things, I guess. Part of it is that I do actually enjoy reading my own stuff. And sometimes, of course, with longer, ongoing fics, I need to reread previous chapters to avoid continuity errors. But then there's this weirdo urge I have, especially immediately after posting a fic but also at other times, to like, I dunno... check up on whether I think it's any good. (And my opinion on a particular piece at different times may vary quite a bit based on my mood and the reactions of others.) So... yeah. Idek. -_-;;

Yeah, it is a little sad how Bruce is so quick to believe that Dick would prefer Clark. Bruce, it's okay to be happy, baby, you deserve nice things!

Man, I've always wanted to tell you how much I liked this fic. It's very sweet, and Bruce's POV is really funny, and endearing without woobie-ing up the character. I love how his determination to make this a wonderful day seamlessly dovetails into a kinda-noble, kinda-heartbroken, kinda-wrongheaded decision to leave the two lovebirds alone. Loved the "Dick was a very beautiful man"-runner, he really can't stop thinking that, can he? XD

And then the ending is super-cute, with how fresh and uncertain their relationship is and with Bruce and Dick both being a little flustered but also really hopeful. And some Clark is of course always good. I really really liked this.

Aawww, thanks so much for commenting to tell me so! It was an interesting piece to work on, because it's so different from anything else I've written for the fandom-usually I go for plotty and/or angsty-but I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. ^_^
